    Do you ever bet to spite people?? Or bet to lose??
    My girlfriend (of 2-3 years) pisses me off to no means... Says I only care about sports, gambling & drinking. So we get in a huge fight (which happens often lately) & leaves, so I immediately buy a fifth of Jameson and lock in ~5 sat & sun football bets for twice as much as I would normally play.

    Can anyone of you degens here empathize? Or am I the worst of the worst degenerates? Typing this out now I think of 'High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story' where he spites his bitchasswife and makes losing bets the second she leaves him. I'm drunk depressed and degenerate... The perfect combo for winners. The last time a gf left me, I went on a sick winning poker run of +2,000 as a poor ass broke ass college student.

      i don't see the problem with this. a lot of this shit depends on how seriously you take gambling and how much you're putting at risk relative to what you can afford to put up. if you don't really care if you win or lose and you're gambling with what you can afford to lose, the fukk that bitch, LET IT RIDE!

                  Let me clarify, I'm not betting with the intention to lose. That's drawn from a recent viewing of the Al Pacino / Matthew McCanaughey movie Two For The Money... I never bet to lose but I kind of understand where Pacino says we never feel more alive when we actually do lose...

                  In reality it's betting to spite someone. I always bet to win. I don't believe in or understand 'air betting' like some people do on this forum. I want to be right 100% of the time and make a shittton of money.
