South Africans are +140. Why?

Aussies are near rock bottom in terms of confidence and form.

Aussies completely outclassed in game 1 so why do the books think they should be favoured here?

Want to unload on the Proteas but need to make sure I've got all angles covered.

well, sa opened at around +100 in the first game, now they opened just a tiny bit higher at around +110 and +120

there are a few changes in the line up for australia and they rushed maxwell back which is probably why the price difference and why bettors seem to be putting their money on australia, whether he will make a big enough difference to get the win remains to be seen

Must win for Australia here, they called back Maxwell from UAE to add batting depth. SA hadnt won any t20 in australia until the last one. Steyn missing from SA bowling, also would have liked Fauf De Plessis and Amla in the lineup. I think this is a no play for me but SA is not a bad play at the given odds.

horrible odds for australia, I think the best strategy is to wait and take australia to win during the middle of the innings if they are batting second, you could get a better price cause at the current one they are a no play

I just dont see how after watching game 1 the aussies have any chance (even with maxwell in).

They were completely dominated both with the bat and in the field.

The pakistan drubbing is still fresh in their minds, that much is obvious (you could see it in their lack of footwork on the crease)...

Probably going all in on the proteas here, such is the degree of confidence at +EV odds

Coochy, line is way off, but Australia still deserve to be slight favourites IMO.

Both teams are in pretty good form. Most of the Aussie guys aren't at rock bottom - most of them have had a pretty good preparation in the matador cup.

I didn't think we were that bad on Weds. I think when you pick a team and Faulkner is in at #6, if you lose a few early wickets, it's hard to come back from. It then becomes really hard to defend 144, because you're trying to attack too much.
