If Rose has an expiring contract after this year it would make sense for Los Angeles to do this. Once Kobe is gone and they are way under the salary cap they can start rebuilding and signing real talent again.

I had a random thought a few years ago Paul Pierce and Rondo to LA Kobe and Fisher and another shit piece to Boston. Obviously would never happen given the history but at the time would of been a way good deal for both teams. Rose gets a pass in CHi town cuz he's a native they wouldnt put up with that weak shit from anybody else LA media would would be relentless on him.

Including this season, Rose has 3 years at 21 mil avg. Bryant has 2 seasons at 24 mil annual avg. So Rose is only one more season at a lower salary. Is 1 additional year forever?

Rose would never be traded for Kobe. It's a laughable suggestion.

When Jordan got paid he was in like seasons 11 to 13, had a championship team and wasn't dogged by injuries. Kobe is entering his NINETEENTH season, has a shit team and is coming off injury.

kobe has so far looked way more athletic than rose so i dont know why u keep bringing up the injuries when it clearly doesnt matter.
