^^^Cmon man theyre struggling with Navy.

Yeah, not a good showing by them tonight. Injuries on defense killing them. Problem with their defense is they lack depth. They're a young team...a defense filled with freshman. I think most experts didn't expect them to be a championship contender until next year but they've been impressive this year, particularly on offense. Defensively they're just too young. They show spurts at times. Offense is the reason why they can play with any team in the country. They would be able to move it on anyone.

Notre Dame's big game is next week. They win at ASU, that's a big quality win for them. That coupled with the fact that they outplayed and "should have beat" Florida State on the road is enough in my mind to make the case they are among the top teams in the country. Their schedule is their schedule....it's not their fault teams that are usually good are not good this year, like Stanford, USC and Michigan.

agreed that Golson is a damn good QB...its the defense that needs work. giving up 39 to Navy and 43 to NC in South Bend not going to win voters over. ND has zero quality wins this year...maybe a half quality for the Stanford win but it was on the last play at home.

I hope they either lose or get in the top 4.

that FSU game is definitely going to haunt them. FSU and ND will be in the same boat every year until both their schedules can get tougher or if the ACC can get much better overall. Once loss and its done for either one of them.
