#4Though I do need to be stronger in my NBA wagers, MLB has always been my strongest team sport, while the NBA has always been my worst. So let's hope JJGold calls those NBA winners all year long that even I can tail, after my NBA Finals scorching. That NBA I do believe was a bit more true to form since the departure of Commissioner Stern. This Royals team that I watched come back from so far impossibly down to get to face the Tigers, and then bust out 8 wins in a row, am sure glad have been on their tails not to mention the NFL Chiefs thank you very much.
NCAAB, NCAAF, NHL have also many years experience, but don't recall ever having only 6 bucks in September, and ever turning that into 8K by Halloween. Have to really thank and appreciate SBR for the fine resort experience. Have gained vast experience, and though have paid an enormous price, have learned how to be a more astute sportsbetter, don't you think? So anyway if I repeat myself, I should have 80K by Christmas.Comment -

I think you need to be a pro to use the store and to become a pro your points reset to 3000 or something.
Dont quote me in regards to this matter. I am a drunk.Comment -

#18As others have said you need to go pro to use them and can only bring over 3000 I believe. Good news is that going pro costs $100 and for 2950 points I believe you can get a $100 target gift card so it's literally break even immediately. Or you can use those points and keep running it up but it really does make sense to go pro for you!!!Comment -

#26Based on the 3.3 cent approximate value of a point (assume you want something besides pizzas) you are up approximately $285.19, congratulations. You can almost get 24 hats. We are proud of you.Comment -

#29Far as I'm concerned, if I'm picking winners whether I'm SBR Pro or not, they're winners. Whether I can redeem points in the SBR store or not, all I know is my points show up in the store when I browse. If the points are not useable unless you're an SBR Pro, then I'd say it's very misleading for SBR to not make that perfectly clear. Thus, if your points are not good in the store, then your points shouldn't show up there. Of course, I make real wagers with real books, which as always is the main thing.
So, doesn't seem to me that anyone is perfectly clear as to what the policy is, even for you folks that have been here for years. Will sure like to resolve EXACTLY what the policy is. Is it, if you're not an SBR pro your points are not redeemable for anything ever, or can they only be redeemed for a token hat or pizza card, or doesn't it matter if you're pro or not?
Then, if you must be Pro for full redeeming options, why can't I become pro and keep my point that I've earned? Or, would I keep the 3000 or some partial amount? So, if converting to pro, are you existing points totally forfeited, partially forfeited or fully useable?
For the record, I was always an SBR pro 'til I had to renew, and then was told rules /policies changed. At the time, by my joining a Book via SBR, I became pro. Evidently, that policy is no more. So what happens if you're pro, have points, and then become non-pro? Are those points immediately void, or do they have a like a 30 day expiration or something, or what pray tell?
Sure glad I created this thread so I can find out now what the deal is (I hope).Comment -

#30Also, if you're not pro and points are not ever worth anything at anytime, then awarding these SBR Resort Winner icons is also highly misleading if points aren't worth a pee hole in the snow.Comment -

#32In any case, am letting it all ride so if I lose, then nothing for me to be concerned about. However, if I win, I better at least get a slice of pie.

#33If the way it still works is that you only keep 3k points after going pro then this wager is pointless. Don't mean to be rude, I am non-us and can just renew pro with Pinny deposit so I may be out of the loop.Comment -
