The 1979Pittsburgh Pirates are the last team to win a World Series Game 7 on the road. This trend reverses the previous historical trend in which Game 7 had been most often won by the road team, in 1979, 1975, 1972, 1971, 1968, 1967, 1965, and 1962. During the 1960s and 1970s, the home team had won Game 7 only in 1960, 1964, and 1973

Also, (off the net), the team that wins game#1 has gone on to win 22 of the last 26 World Series.

I am going with KC tomorrow, although I am new to sports betting I don't think this trend you guys are talking about is relevant (please correct me if I am wrong). From watching KC/SF play since there wild card matches I'm going to have to go with KC on this one. I have massive faith in Guthrie.

And to clarify what I mean by the trend being relevant, the best example I can think about is a roulette wheel. Just because it hits black X times in a row doesn't mean its going to hit red.

1975 Reds, 2006 Cardinals. Before 1975 it was more common. From 1960-1980
the home team lost game 7 (8 of 11 times). Before 1960 Yankees dominance makes
