Anyone who has followed me in the NBA the last 2 years knows I always use that theory as well. I either go ML or do both. I never just lay 4 points in a game.
I prefer to bet on both actually with lines in that range.
Doing both obviously kept me from losing last night. But at -3.5, the moneyline was just too high to hammer by itself. I would recommend ppl doing that same thing as well.

They brought in a great group of veterans and made some awesome acquisitions. The got unlucky to lose last night, as they won the majority of the game, they moved the ball around way better than I thought they would....I think that the Clip and the Spurs will hve their hands full with this squad this year.

These are my exact words to my betting buddies and I learned this the hard way. For a decade now I literally never give more than 1 point on a game in hoops both nba and college. And in football if I'm on a dog of 2.5 or less I go moneyline. Simple rules that I've learned the hard way
