At first i didnt really care who won but now that the Royals are facing elimination i kinda feel sorry for them bc the Giants are in the World Series almost every other year and I got a feeling the Royals may not get back to the World Series for a LONG time so i kinda hope they get this ring bc Giants fans are spoiled and they dont really need another championship.

I could never bet that heavily against a team comprised of battled tested champions just because the pitching match up favors KC. Last time these two pitchers matched up Peavy matched Ventura for 5 in and Bochy had a brain fart and botched that game. He allowed Peavy to start the 6th and first 2 guys reached and brought his 5th and 6th best options to relieve and they put gas on the fire. It was a 2-2 game after 5 1/2.... If Peavy gives an effort just as good as last time this will be a coin flip because I sure as hell believe Bochy will manage this game with much better and Royals wont see him a 3rd time thru the order.

Oh, I agree. He just never successfully pitched 6in in a playoff game in his career. He has no business going thru the KC lineup 3 times. He relies more on guile and caginess now rather than stuff. When that is the case you struggle against a team like the Royals that consistently put the ball in play. If he can duplicate his last start thru 5ip against KC the Giants will have as good as chance to win as KC.

what ever it is its not going to be anywhere near the +200 you can get now on KC. if you already think they are gonna win tonight then its hard not to take a team at +200 in the final game of the world series no matter which team it is.
