What has not been mentioned here either is that Rodgers had two receiver tipped INTs in the/just outside redzone which the Saints did a great job turning into points. Sundays game was a hair away from being much different, fade the Saints on the road. I can understand not wanting to throw money on Carolina, but laying points with the aints on the road will get you broke real quick

Thats right don't be fooled by what you witnessed yesterday. Remember this is the NFL and things don't necessarily have to make sense logically in order to be a good bet.
The Saints are a different team at home in the rowdy Superdome and in fact they are 12-0 in the last 12 prime time home games in New Orleans....
BUT on the road???? they are an average to a below average team. There is a cold front moving in and the temperature will be a little chilly on Thursday night and Brees hates playing outdoors on grass in cold weather.
I can't tell you how many times i have seen this scenario played out. When a team has back to back nationally televised games they tend to win 1 of them and then lose the next. We saw this a few weeks back with the Patriots.
The Panthers defense actually had a decent pass rush yesterday and rookie DE Ealy is finally starting to make an impact replacing DE Hardy. The secondary played well against Russell Wilson too.
Cam actually impressed me a little bit yesterday too along with rookie sensation Kelvin Benjamin and the Panthers finally had a decent running attack with Johnathan Stewart back. They move the ball between the 20's with ease but were terrible in the red zone. Now this was against a GOOD Seattle defense.
They will have a much easier time scoring points against the Saints and I think the defense can do enough to disrupt Brees. The Panthers are due for a prime time win since they failed to deliver a month ago against the Steelers.
This is a MUST WIN for the Panthers and the first place is on the line. Hammer the Panthers as soon as the line comes out. And the best part about it???? you know the public is going to be on the Saints.
I love getting the home team and in this case probably a home dog going against the public in a prime time show down.
Panthers 34 Saints 24
Why hammer it when the line comes out if everyone will be on the Saints?

A lot of short term memory here. Saints were one of the best road teams in the nfl from 2006-2013.
Ingram is back though. Totally different team with him as a real running back to showcase. Cadet, Thomas, Robinson are not an Ingram. Saints heavy. I'll take the -3.

Cam Newton is a beast. He will be unleashed against the Saints. Saints are crap outdoors. Supposed to be 40s at kickoff.

Do the Panthers have enough O lineman? Ruling out their starting RT and both starting guards today has to put a hamper on that already horrible O line.. I think a lot of you are living on the Panthers memories from last year..

New Orleans is not exactly getting to the QB, only 13 on the season. Cam's mobility more than makes up for this, not even sure how banged up the Oline is have not looked into it. Just do not see it as much of a factor

its no secret that the Panthers O-Line sucks and yes they did add another O-lineman yesterday Remmers or some shit.
but regardless the Panthers O-Line sucks but Cam is pretty mobile and just bc u get past the O-Line does not mean you can get to Cam. He is fast and tackling him is like trying to bring down a water buffalo.
The thing to note however is the improvement on the Panthers defense. The Panthers can score points on a weak on Saints D ... aint no doubt about that.
But the real story is Panthers finally playing solid D and they will be jacked up tomorrow

This game can go either way. These teams typically play each other close. NO Saints are back to their old self now that Ingram is back.
Carolina on the other hand is tough to read - they've had a very tough schedule - can't tell if their losses show weakness.

Cam is a different type of QB mentally. He has the personality more of a WR.
Normally QB's are cool calm collective but Cam is very emotional and he really gets hype for these spotlight games he is all about the bright lights and being flashy.
i know the Panthers failed the last time around in prime time but i was at that game too and that was almost like a home game for the Steelers. For some reason everytime the Panthers play the Steelers its like a Steeler home game even if its the pre-season.

Saints right down the field and then Brees throws a redzone pick.....glad I didn't play them tonite. There is no reason they fk up so regularly on the road? Took Brees Over 305.5 yards so hopefully Carolina can slow down their running game and make Drew air it out

Brees with 2 turnovers... This dude is cancer on the road. Brees on the road is the reason he isn't a top 5 QB.

Panthers need to start benching Cam Newton, wasting a good defense on this clown. I'll take Bryce Petty DNGAF

Brees at QB doesn't translate to success on the road. Bad things happen when he is QB.
