Not a real home game for Cal, so I'm only playing over 79.

You know I like big dogs, but I don't like Cal here. They put a lot into that UCLA game and the way they lost throwing an interception in the final minute on an ill-advised pass when already in position to kick the winning field goal has to sting. Oregon is on a mission again so I see Ducks by 21+ here.

The public wins sometimes too.
The problem with these huge spread games is u know in the first 5 minutes of the game if u are going to cash or not.
Oregon might get up to a 28-0 lead in the 1st quarter... If that happens how will you feel about your bet?

Oh - hell no. Sometimes you'll know if the favorite will cover in the first 5 minutes, but very often the dog getting 20+ pts can take a lead halfway into Q2 and build some serious false hope that gets shattered. I'd say a big spread in a college game becomes apparent in the final 5 minutes of the 1st half.
I like Cal simply because they're at home on a Fri night. No bet.

I'd feel bad, but I remember having a Louisiana Tech +13.5 bet against Texas A&M 2 years ago and A&M got up 28-0 early but LA Tech rallied and lost by not completing a 2 point conversion at the end of the game.

You have Cal getting beat by Zona with arguably the biggest miracle in the history of college football, then Zona beats Oregon so from that standpoint it looks like a gift. LT with a very good point - Oregon on a mission now to get into the playoff and probably to some extent saw Zona as a walk in the park going into that game. Completely different team this time.
Changed my mind - looks trappy, wouldn't touch either side.

cal is 0-7 last 3 years and 6-33 since 1992 as a dog of 10 - 21.5 points.

Taking a side is tough, Cal spread seems too good to be true.
I am expecting Oregon to get 50 or more points, Cal should do their thing and the over should cover.

Yeah, it's dangerous to play that game. Cal also got killed by Washington, and then Oregon murdered Washington with the spread at -21. Definitely makes this line look fishy.

Locked Oregon in yesterday at -17 (-120). Cal defense will struggle mightily.

Cal are due for a let down game again. They have promised way more than they should have and things look downhill from here. Oregon needs to roll, can't afford anymore poor games.

Cal watered the grass this afternoon to slow down Oregon. They will also employ the fake injury strategy to stop the play.
