He could have done the right thing and medically retired so the Lakers could clear his cap number. But he's got a hefty bill to pay to the ex so that's not an option because once you're medically retired you cant come back. He'll fleece some team for the league minimum next year.

Worst trade ever? Meh probably up there. Who could have predicted he would have had a broken leg less than 20 games into the contract?

Laker haters like ratzz and menses will enjoy the next few years while their shitty teams sniff Lebron's butthairs following him on the way to a championship. Once Timmy Duncan retires.

Leaves him plenty of time to film FIFA video game commercials, maybe get that goofy alien eye thing fixed. +EV for Nasher.

            Nash was always overrated.

            Never a two way player.

Great player but not one of the best pgs ever.

Steve Nash one of the best guards Phoenix and NBA had

He should have retired when being part of Phoenix. It is sad such legend like him, without rings and to end career like this.
Steve you are one of the greatest players, top 5 of all times PG's.

Leave it to you to always say the dumbest fukkin thing possible in a thread lol.
                  Clueless.

As for Nash, he had to do this to get his money. It's the last contract of his life, can't blame the guy for wanting it all.

Im not a salary cap expert but I believe that he could have finished last season and medically retired and still been paid his final year salary. It would have come off the Lakers cap number which would have helped them out in recruiting. So pretty much if I see that Fukk in LA I'll probably punch him in the throat.

                      so much hate in here

so a human being is only worthy if he is an nba superstar?

even at his age steve nash is a better athlete and bball player than most on this forum, so if he's a washed up loser then what does that make the average poster that posts on here?

Giant, do you think the loss of Nash will impact their season wins line ?

If anything, losing Nash takes them out of the Finals...... ......... ........
