With 2 outs and the bases loaded you try to make that catch no matter what.

Either its a homer and nothing you can do OR its in play and you make the catch.

Playing it safe and preventing if from getting away for a triple or inside park homer is pointless because if that ball lands its game over anyways

Problem is he hasn't pitched in well over a week. Cards will get to Hudson and game will be decided in late innings as usual.
BTW Guthrie hasn't pitched in weeks. Most of the time they are not sharp, so be careful with KC.
