Best Guess: the law of averages would seem to indicate Baltimore wins game three, because they are due? Overall the better team on paper? The better manager as proven?? Not going to get swept ??? More homers, proven. However, this is MLB and all that goes out the window in the playoffs, hence, LAA & Detroit both getting swept by " Inferior" teams. KC has nothing to fear and just playing loose and enjoying their ride. Nobody expected the Red Sox to come back down 3-0 to the Yankees??? I say, ride the team getting hot at the right time. Problem with due theory:

Take a regular coin and let's say it comes up heads 10 times in a row. Thus the thought is that tails is "due" on 11th toss. What are the odds on 11th toss being tails?

Due theory does not work, you have to handicap each game on its own merit. Now there ARE teams that respond well to desperation such as losing first two games at home in short playoff series. But that is not because of the "Due Theory", some teams play better with backs against the wall. You can't blindly just bet every team trailing in a series.

Greasy I got the sarcasm, it's a lost art on SBR. I love the "due theory" myself, usually use that as my reasoning for making picks so I don't confuse players talk.
