Actually it makes complete sense. The TV networks are aware that many Canadians are sitting home digesting turkey. Any NHL game on TV will be watched by many viewers here. I would say the afternoon games are more for Canadian viewers on Thanksgiving, than it is for Americans on Columbus Day.

But that said, I wasn't being completely serious in my first post about this. Cheers.
