Mavs made good decisions this off season. Cuban wanted to give Dirk one last run! They will stumble out of the gate but will be contenders in the playoffs!

k13 what are you saying. There's only 3 great teams in the East and that's Cavs Miami and the Bulls. It's gonna be Cavs and Miami in the conference finals.

                  The East is weak dude.

Nothing will ever come close to a duo of Wade and Lebron in their primes. You won't see any duo like that for 25 more years. You'll see. No team in the east will ever reach the nba finals 4 times straight unless you pair up two legends. Right now, Lebron made a huge mistake going to cleveland. Even if they get there, there's no chance that team will beat the Spurs or the Thunder or the Clippers 4 times.

LeBron made the smart longterm decision. This isn't about 2015 goat. This is about 2015-2020.

Could have made the decision in two more years from now, when Irving can actually be a superstar. If Lebron stays with Miami, that team is going to the finals for a 5th straight time, no question about it. Lebron could have been a free agent again in 2016. And he'd have another ring most likely. Then could have gone back to cleveland. People are going to start to see what Lebron is missing and the luxury of what he had in miami all those years w a true hall of famer in Wade.

this is correct. Lebron has long term vision and plans. Irving will develop much better under Lebron..
he will feed and coach him, not internally compete with him

Love is already there, what a 3-Pt shooter
you never have a 40% 3-pt guy that is a killer rebounder
                        what a combo.

they should be good to go for several years

Lebron made the perfect move going back to Cleveland. Let's be sincere, Wade is.......and Bosh contributed little this past final leaving the loads to Lebron. Love + Irving + Lebron....No team in the east is beating them bar injury. And people need to stop mentioning the Bulls. Bulls are nothing but regular season team. Not favorite for the championship imo. Who is there to carry the team? Gasol? or Rose that's not even among top ten players in the east right now? East only has Cleveland, the rest are just there to make numbers.

Irving and Love are nowhere even close to Wade and Bosh defensively.

The Cavs have a good chance to win the East but that's just because the East is a joke. They will get annihilated in the finals if they make it there. Even worse than last year's Heat possibly.

The disparity between both conferences is a joke at this point. The team that will finish 8th in the West will probably be a team that could beat Cleveland or Chicago in a 7-game series.

if the Cavs make the Finals.. there is no way the are annihilated..
they all have legs. they are all young.

Miami's prob in the Finals was the shooting percentage of Wade/Allen.. Bosh was okay..
                              Cavs would not be spent

Miami was spent last season and their supporting cast was a complete disaster as opposed to the previous 2 years. It was obvious they were not playing at the required level to win a championship a few times during the season. The Spurs were also just not going to be denied last year. Now obviously I can't say I called the Heat to get smacked 4 times by 15+, but I did call them to lose that finals way in advance.

If Miami had kept LeBron and restructured their roster a bit they would be a far better team than this Cavs team can hope to be IMO. At least the next couple years. Now how good can the Cavs be down the road? I'm not really sure what to think of guys like Irving and Waiters at this stage. I guess we'll see.

Last season, (yes, bringing up last season)...Rockets beat the Spurs in all regular season games at home and in San Antonio.

Lets see if they can do it again. With the new additions to Hou roster, it will be interesting for sure.
