I have nothing in football tonight (yet) but the closest I came to making a play was on New Mexico. San Diego State is not good enough to be a road favorite starting a freshman backup quarterback that was awful in his first game last week vs. a terrible Fresno State defense, completing just 9-of-24 passes for a scant 84 yards in the loss. The one thing holding me back (for now) is New Mexico has a one-dimension running offense and SDST only allows 3.4 yards per rush.

Again, it doesn't change anything. Win or lose, you just can't give double-digits on the road with ANY bad team regardless of the opponent, just on principle alone. You would not even consider this game if it was part of a Saturday card.

Take the under 51 1/2. Everything you say in your post (and i agree with) points to the under...factor in sd state has gone under all their games this year and i believe nm state has gone under 3 of 5.

Fresno YTD: 112th in Total Defense at 469.6 yards per game, and identical 112th in points against with 36.5. And they are actually worse than that, their only good game came vs. inept freshman QB last week playing his first college game.
