dropped out after 3 majors and 2 minors, didn't like anything that I was doing in college. Knew that I had a selling personality and dropped out, moved back home for a couple months, landed the job selling cars in June 2012 and haven't looked back since.

HUGH mistake. Nothing wrong with selling cars. I have friends that have done well at it. But its a brutal grind. Go back to school and finish. You're only 24. Nobody takes you seriously now anyway. You can always sell, you'll just be a salesman with a college degree. And typically that will make you the Regional Sales Manager that the other 24 year old punks are working for.

I'm sure in your own mind you see yourself as the guy that had all the potential and you bought into your friends hype of how smart you are. That's good and all but it doesn't pay the bills Sammy. my brother has a masters degree as a teacher making mid 30's in North Carolina. I have many more friends with college/masters/MBA's making 20-30-40k a year. With student loans up the balls still living at home.

I'm making close to 100k this year with 0 student loans not living at home.

When I dropped out of school, I was going to be a math major learning why numbers were odd and even with proofs 2 pages long. So ridiculous. You never use 90% of the shit you "learn" in college. School is about passing tests, nothing more. You study for 30 minutes prior to the test, pass it, and move on. What do you actually get out of it. A piece of paper that says you are qualified. And that HOPEFULLY gets you a job.

I've been selling cars since 2012, so I have to be doing something right. All 3 of my sales managers didn't go to or finish college and they are all making 200K+/year. The hours may be more than a typical 9-5 M-F job. But I'm fine with that.

I have 0 intention of ever going back to school. Just doesn't make sense for me personally.

I went to college, had a total of $10,000 in debt and have made between $90,000-$100,000/year since I graduated.

I just posted 3 studies showing that obtaining a bachelors degree is CLEARLY worth it financially.

love em or hate em, I sell Dodge Grand Caravans and Chrysler T/C minivans. #1 selling minivan of all time. Also Jeep Grand Cherokee is #1 selling SUV. RAM 1500 is truck of the year 2 years running, ect. I love what I sell.
