Some of best posters are American's coach. Not all - but there are a handful that seem to know their stuff when it comes to hockey. You know this too. Coach - would love to see you go on a heater - this place would go nuts if you can get hot for an extended period of time. Make it happen!

Little line reading, some look ahead games, really the game of the 4 major sports where the better team wins on a given night. Find out who's injured and who the goalies are. Sure, the normal factors like "revenge" and other emotional factors apply, but unlike the NBA, these guys come to play 80 of the 82 games.

Staying away from that +1.5 puck line is key if you ask me. Sure if your team gets in an OT shootout its money, but how often do you see a team get burnt by the empty-netter with :03 to go? Stick with the ML is the way to go in my opinion.

Yes, my underdog bet ratio is a lot lower in hockey than the other pro sports
