How can the Skins hang with the Seahawks?

I have Seattle winning, but the game could be closer than you think. Washington has their backs to the wall, and Seattle's not as good on the road. They need this game though to ensure home field in the playoffs. Washington desperately needs a win, so they could make it tough - defensively anyway. I'm thinking it might be a low scoring game. Seattle might barely win this game - if at all.

Seattle needs this win to ensure homefield in the playoffs? What are you smoking it's their 4th game. There's no 'need' or even 'want' this win in the sense of one side more than the other. It's MNF, both teams want to win.

I see a lot of you guys comparing this game to last night's Patriots game where the Pats were coming off a humiliating loss to the Chiefs. However, Kirk Cousins is no Tom Brady and the Skins have won just one game all season and that was against the Jags. Tonight they face one of the best teams in the NFL if not the best. I don't claim to be the best bettor in the world but I'll put my money on the returning champs in this one. Y'all are way overthinking this.

I am not sure how Skins are going to score with Seattle having two weeks to prepare. This is one of the rare times where I see correlation between a touchdown favorite and the UNDER, because I think reason Seahawks win fairly big is because of not giving up many points. Something in the neighborhood of Seattle 27-10.

Judging by the numbers on Pinnacle and everyone pounding the Hawks spread and ML, Skins win with the points and straight up. Vegas doesn't make money on the universe betting favorites. Fading the public will come out ahead in the long run. Did last year and the year before and before that.

Here is some food for thought for you numbers guys. Last year if you were to take the top 3 differences in tix (bets) on both spread and moneyline, and then bet on the team with the least amount of tix. You would have been very happy for the first 12 weeks of NFL.

Even if Im wrong, the books will make it up somewhere else. Look at last year when the Jets rolled into Atlanta and were 4 to 1 underdogs and won while everyone pounded the Falcons or when the Bears rolled into Green Bay a few weeks after and were 4 to 1 underdogs and won while everyone pounded the Pack.
