Really poorly coached on both sides. I agree would have let them score, but wow kneeling on 3rd & 3 leaving 40 seconds left was incredibly stupid. A first down ends the game, and a running play would have taken at least a few more seconds off the clock.

Good call Ghengis. Unfukkinreal that everyone in America watching this game knew what would happen besides the UCLA coaching staff. As soon as Utah hit the 20 the only real options were 1)Allow a TD and get the ball back with over 2 minutes and a timeout or 2) Allow a chipshot and FG and give your team 30 seconds. Given how much UCLA was moving the ball in the 4th quarter, who would go with option 2?
