Stanford's coaches are absolute dog shit!...Hold the Irish in check for 58 minutes of the game and then decide to play prevent defense and let the Irish march right down the field in two minutes and give up a game winning TD!...4th and 11 and they only rush 3?!!...

....that shit never works!...and the TE/WR was still wide open for a TD...the only thing prevent defenses do is prevent you from winning the game...when will these stupid ass coaches learn.

Did you actually watch the game or follow by computer? It was pouring rain, 35 degrees and the wind was blowing 25+mph. You give the SEC way too much credit...they wouldn't score anything in this weather, either. Not to mention Stanford had the #1 ranked D in the country and ND's is ranked up there as well.

i was at the game, snow came down at one point. Both teams had a horrible time holding onto the football because of the rain and cold which never seemed to stop. The sec is overrated. Go IRISH!

Think ND regrets not joining Big 10? They get deeper and deeper recruiting talent with every year that the Big 10 has gone to sh*t. Irish getting players that used to go to Michigan, Penn State - OSU/Mich has nothing on the USC rivalry. Not a bad time to be an independent top 10 football team in the Great Lakes area.

Well, they totaled up almost 400 yards of offense on the number 1 defense in the country. In a way, Stanford was "lucky" even to have a shot at winning that game. ND made a lot of mistakes but made up for them in the end.

Looks like a few people bet on Stanford here. Must not have watched the game, because the only team able to move the ball with any success was ND.
Playoff team? Maybe not, we'll see in a couple weeks. Do they suck? I guess that depends on your definition.

They racked up 400 yards against the #1 defense in college in a pouring hurricane and they suck????? Dude, your bias is showing through a little too much right now. Just because you lost a ton of money on Stanford doesn't mean the other team "sucks."
