Oregon has consistently come short in the big games over the last 5 years or so. They are great at beating up the weaker competition, but they have stumbled against some of the higher echelon teams.

Oregon has been regressing since kelly left...this new coach is NOT the answer and a complete joke...since he has been the coach, Oregon has been very inconsistent and sloppy...I think they lose at least 1 more game in conference and fans will be calling for Helfrich's head by season's end...

Just heard something interesting. In Chip Kelly's last 37 PAC 12 games, the Ducks were 34-3 SU. In their last 6 PAC 12 games, they're 3-3 SU. That's pretty eye opening.

easy to say now....so what should the line have been? did every sportsbook model that sets opening lines and winning modeler who bet on ore. simply get it wrong by that much? i dont think so... you realize it opened higher, right?

As an Oregonian and Duck fan it's tough to watch the program decline but I'm also excited for the run we had. I think even during the Chip Kelly era the Ducks were overrated to a large extent. The SEC is/was clearly a more dominant conference. College Football isn't my sport and even with my novice eye I knew we were overrated. It's surprising the national media and public could be so deceived for so long.

All I can say as a Duck fan is, mediocrity here we come.

The conference has gotten better which is good to see, but I think Oregon will be just fine. Mariota is a beast and we now have a playoff format so I still like the Ducks chances.
