OK State Cowboys on upset alert here. Red Raiders have a highly suspect defense but I expect a close game here.

Both teams will look to wing it around the field but I think Texas Tech can pull off the upset. Taking the 14 points but good value in the +435 ML and I will throw a few bucks on it as well.

Both teams off a bye, but Tech needed it much more after the resignation of co D Coord Wallerstedt resigning last week. The D couldn't get much worse in Lubbock, but I think Red Raiders will have something to prove tonight. Unfortunately, Thursday night in Stillwater is a tough place to make a statement. Backup Dax Garmann now starting his 3rd game and he looks damn good, but his first on national TV and B12 opener will make it a different beast. Tech has been impossible to figure out so far, but they'll be ready tonight and will put it all on the line. Line seems fishy to me as I thought Pokes would be -17. They are notorious for takeaways, especially at home, and I think they'll get 2 or 3 tonight, which I think ends up being the difference here. Crowd will be crazy, as it always is at Boone Pickens, and I am on the Cowboys -13.5, albeit not large due to Tech's offense and ability to back door here.

OSU first half/game for me. Tech is horrendous. They beat central arkansas by 7 as a 33 point fav i think. They beat UTEP with a late td to win by 4 as a 21 point fav i think. They got bitchslapped by Arkansas at home. I just can't see how this could even be close, we will see

I think OKST is overrated and overvalued here. Both teams are about even. Texas Tech has a bad defense but OKST doesn't really have the run game to exploit it. OKST's offense still has something to be desired

In other words OK St. has played well against good/average competition, TTech has looked poor against inferior competition (and got mugged by the one good team they played). Line seems about right to me.

Exactly how I feel

I think OKST is the most overvalued team in the country. Yes they gave FSU a good game but they are still extremely young, inexperienced and don't have a lot of depth. I think the close game vs. FSU had more to do with FSU playing poorly than OKST playing well
