Betfair Exchange lay Bears +1.5 for even money???

If I lay $100 on Bears +1.5 does that mean that if the Bears do not cover +1.5 I win? For some reason the exchange had the Jets -1.5 at worse odds than even . I don't really understand the exchange yet, but from what I see I have a good bet right?

im with ya. ive never dabbled in exchanges either. they only make sense to me when larger than limit amounts want to be wagered. from the little i know on them you have to have some one match the other side for them to be graded. but i dont understand why anyone would want to go this route unless they are betting huge.

yes but in exchange markets dont you have to have someone willing to match the other side on every single bet?
