Men. Every week. I think we need to just do it. Anything 54 or Under should be an automatic play IMO. Will monitor this week to week for the rest of the season, but with this offense & this defense - points seem like they will pile up every week barring a large # of turnovers for either side.

Next week should be a legit test of this theory with SF being the opponent.

Defense last year - hard to believe - was better than this group. They were holding teams in the low 20s or less more than half the games. I don't see that from this crew. Then again, it is Week 3, but I think if books don't go over board with the totals each week, low to mid 50s is something I would try OVERs with every week.

50.5 for Week 4 @ SF. Definitely worth a pop. Niners just as banged up as Philly in some key areas and their D definitely misses some of those who are out. Niners have plenty of weapons to roast the Eagles in the pass game. Key will be red zone efficiency.

Love your thinking on this one the miners secondary is toast and they are allowing a decent rushing game great yards.. Kappvwill light up kellys defense and a aerial assault will showcase two good qbs and their wide receivers/running backs gonna wait and see but will pounce at anything hovering around 48...I'll buy a pt if I have too.

I look at their entire schedule and only the Rams, Titans and maybe Texans would scare me off of taking an Over - otherwise, anything under 54 seems like a must to me.

Still could have won with better playing calling on those last two goal line plays. I'm not mad about the loss for Philly, madder about the loss on the Over which they should have gotten some how, some way with all the scores that happened and how they happened. But SF couldn't finish drives and Philly got crushed with their OL issues.

San Fran are an incompetent team. I cant remember watching a game where one team made so many errors and won the game. That being said their defense is very good.

Sad thing is their defense was not very good the first few games, but they had a great game plan today + the OL injuries really seemed to catch up with Philly today. Simply cannot run block with these scrubs and the pass protection too was horrible. Defense played pretty admirably considering they were on the field the entire game. Niners racked up the yards, but took like 75 plays to get 400 yards .

Meh. Same problems they had under Reid though, they don't do well with large leads.

Chip needs to figure out that he should never stop the throttle on offense until somewhere in the middle of the 4th quarter. Defense wears down quick when the offense goes conservative and does not move the ball. Offense still does not look to be totally clicking, especially the run still struggling. A win is a win, but this was a game they should have won comfortably instead of sweating out on a last drive.
