Sure they will likely still win the game but why even take chance when you are playing against a decent side. It's not like NCAA pressured them to sit him. The financial benefit as well as the national coverage in making the playoffs is worth too much to take such a chance. This was an awful decision by the fsu staff. Also if your gonna sit a guy no way should he be in the sidelines.

I'll tell you what they were thinking, in the midst of everyone saying how the NFL have been making poor decisions, they tried to be self righteous and not only suspend him for the half but change it to a full game. My thoughts initially were they should have just let him play the full game, instead they put the spotlight on the program when they could have just let it died down, after all it wasnt a big deal anyway. He's not a smart kid but he's young and making mistakes that college students make (as long as the sexual assault thing is false, which I tend to believe). You kind of have to sit him after all the stuff going on but it wouldn't have been a big deal to me if he played. Some of you must not get out much??? FSU administration was catching hell all week for the pathetic handling of Winston. Not just this latest incident but especially the ongoing investigation into the rape. Yes, the rape investigation is still ongoing. The girl is not giving up and is determined to get him convicted. What does that tell you? FSU fans are tired of Winston's acts. He thinks he's a made man, does what the fvk he wants to do and is quickly giving FSU a bad eye. No one is above the program and Winston is on the precipice of getting his ass kicked off the team.
