I am Scottish and will vote YES,

Imagine having to be ruled by a government that your country hates and that was voted in by England.

Hopefully if it is yes the gambling law will be scrapped and pinny and sbo will stay in Scotland!

One of the main reasons for the extremely lax laws on gambling in the UK is that gambling basically pays for the aristocracy to keep and own race horses. The aristocracy make sure there are no draconian laws therefore the masses lose millions at bookies, bookies kindly use some of this money to sponsor races where the masses lose again and the rush horse owners get prize money which enables them to keep their expensive horses...



As you know Scotland hastes upper classes in general and their would be big calls in an independent Scotland to tax gambling heavily. Especially with the practically unreported epidemic of fobt addicts that have Ben created last few years.
