Lightning delay in the Georgia @ Carolina game....any changes?

Rainy, lightning...delayed will take energy out of that crowd. Game might be on and off til night time....who does this favor?

what's the rules on cancelling a game or ending it early? I know the Alabama game was ended early due to thunder last week I believe, I know it was a blowout but not sure if they would possibly do the same?

If you need to have a half hour break every single time lightning strikes within an 8 mile radius around the stadium, there is no way they are going to get this game in.

A game of this magnitude won't be cancelled but it certainly might be postponed, maybe to tomorrow, maybe to later in the season.

I imagine the refs are in consultation with the Conference Commissioner.

Most Carolina fans can't go 3 straight hours without drinking or posting something annoying on a message board. 5:00 kickoff already going to test their limits

Need time to get home. Just not an ideal situation since government has to budget for these games. They're going to try everything in their power to get this one in.

Obviously ploy to slow down might Georgia. I'm wavering in how this one goes. Probably only 40-3 Georgia now as Spurrier has obviously struck deal with Mother Nature
