#37You are so unbelieveably stupid that it is just amazing. You know NOTHING about College Football. If you did, you would know that the SEC members have an agreement that does NOT allow any team from a State that already has a team in the SEC to add a second. That eliminates Florida and South Carolina, along with every other SEC East team. Why do you think that Louisville ended up in the ACC? Because Kentucky stopped them from even thinking about going to the SEC. Florida shuts out Florida State. Georgia keeps Tech out. South Carolina stops Clemson. Game, set and match. You may want to do some research before you go running your mouth off.Comment -

#40maryland couldnt recruit in the acc. they were also losing their regional talent pool of hs players to top programs. moving away from the acc could benefit the terps in years to come. now if they could only hire a better coach... dont hate on my stateComment -

#43Great topic here...but nobody is right or wrong just opinions. Well all know money drives everything. STAX makes a good point about the 4 super conf....but I think Big 12 not ACC will be gone. The whole northeast corridor is densely populated and have the very lucrative NYC and Wash Metro markets. When the Big 10 added MD and Rut. they were not after the programs but they bought into these massive media markets. By Conservative estimates of 20 million cable subscribers each willing to pay just a nickle extra on cable bill to carry BTN...that adds up to $ 120 million over 10 years, it's almost like printing money. Maryland stands to get(make) 100 million over the next 10 years by going to the Big 10....I am a traditionalist and it sucks to see change like this...that long standing traditions are being tarnished to get more money. And money is why we will have the 4 super conf. Geography makes sense but not cents.!!......much more to add later, lets keep this going.Comment -

Where are your posted college football plays this season? I know you were silenced in week 1 due to a suspension for some reason, but you should have posted week 2 (i saw you posting about other stuff) and you should post this week as well.Comment -

#47Also SEC has no "rule" by any stretch. It is an agreement by Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia to veto any of THEIR in-state rivals, should that ever hit the table. That's it. It started in the mid 70s, when Georgia Tech tried to rejoin the SEC. Ole Miss balked (GT voted them out in the early 60s, so karma), Georgia balked, and Bama jumped in to royally penetrate us, and these little pacts have continued ever since.Comment -
