True, but sometimes they bring a new shoe. You don't see it shuffled, and they scan the cards. I might be paranoid, but I think they know the cards before they are dealt. Then bring in fake players at different hands.

Counting cards doesn't ensure winning, obviously. But helps take away some of house's edge.

Only problem I ever had was one night playing I had built up about 300-400 in profit betting 15-40 a hand.
Then one hand the website kinda froze so I thought I hadn't gotten my bet out, so I clicked again and again till it showed up..... only it was like a 400 dollar bet cause it finally unfroze and all those clicks had registered...


Needless to say I lost that hand, and all my profit... and couldn't get it back..
