US OPEN------- LIVE IN-GAME THREAD....Nishi vs. Cilic....Sushi on me tonight boys
Just caught a great price at one of the casinos here on Nishikori at -105, and it was a 30 cent line with Cilic being -125. Someone must have pounded Cilic pretty hard there, as I see Nishi no lower than -115 on just about every online book right now.

I'm all over sushi man here.
He has already showed he can handle the big serve this week when beating Raonic in a gutsy 5 set comeback win after being down 2-1 and looking just about finished.
All the momentum in the world beating Joker, I don't see him doing all that and letting us down today.
    This tournament is his.
I'm not so sure how entertaining this match is going to be because of their diff styles in play. I would guess there wouldn't many long rally points. Nishi more scrappy and if he can handle cilic serve well, he definitely has the edge in this one IMO.
Regardless, one of these guys is making a big splash with a win today in this final. Congrats to both of these 2nd tier guys finally getting a shot to make a name for themselves under a major spotlight match.

    NISHIKORI -105

Let's keep it clean in here boys.

    Enjoy the match!!

BOL Benny, I went with Cilic at plus money (+105 still available on bovada), feel like whoever you can get at +money in this matchup is worth a small play, complete toss up IMO

Yeah, lots calling it a toss-up, but from what I watched and their past history I don't see it even.
I feel like Nishi is great value in this spot.
After watching him this week I just feel he's locked in.
Cilic beating Federer isn't a big deal, we all know Feds is old and they are closer to the same playing level pretty much now.
Nishi beating Joker was way more impressive, not to mention that comeback vs. Raonic.

      BOL (sorta lol)

Any bad weather possible for the match? It's raining hard here in Vegas.

I'm actually surprised not many ppl like nishikori here. I just don't see how cilic is the play here at that price.

Did the weather earlier in the tourney play a part in playing this match in Monday? That has to kill ratings obviously.

I think Nishikori is the play here BBN, I think you are going to have a nice payday.

ALL of the public is on Cilic and I am not sure why, not just the betting public, go on any of these websites and in the comments sections Kei is getting beat down.

I think it probably has something to do with the public being uninformed....I really do. How could some little Jap beat a big server like Cilic.

You are correct though, he can handle the serve and has more offense than anyone gives him credit for. He is fast and he can handle Cilic (as his 5-2 HU record will account for), BUT at the same time this Cilic is a different Cilic. Goran has him playing way beyond where he has been.

I had Kei at 66 to 1 (I got this AFTER he beat Raonic if you can believe it) and with plus money on his opponent I bought myself out of my bet....now I can watch the match knowing I got 35 to 1 (I got Cilic at +112) with absolutely no pressure and after my first 10 days at this years USO I needed this.

GL today, I think you are on the right side.

I'm actually not only rooting for Nishi to take this down for my bet, but I feel this guy has the potential to take off confidence-wise with this victory and who knows maybe catapult himself over the 2nd tier guys and become a force in tennis. Him and Dimitrov could be those type of players.
Nishi could use some roids to bump that serve up a few MPH's though.

Line was virtually stagnant the whole time. Opened -120 closed -120 basically. Thats why I was shocked I got him this morning at -105.

You put your foot on his throat. But no, you wanted to penetrate around and give the guy confidence. You took a vacation during every Nishi service game in the 2nd set!
