I really do not understand what all the noise is about. Aussies clearly tanked in that game in an attempt to get a better seeding position (did not work by the way). But that happens all the time in lots of sports; e.g. just a few weeks ago, the Sky tanked at the end of the reg season to avoid the Fever in the 1st round. Dragic should get over it and maybe make sure that his team can score more than 2 points in a quarter.

I have no idea what happened to Hawley or Acoochy or actually most of the Aussie and NZ posters. I stopped posting and paying attention to SBR a long ago. I assume they either went bust or realized that posting is a waste of time or both.

Very unlikely. The tank to avoid USA angle is much more reasonable.

Australia does not have a history of corruption and usually go to great lengths to investigate these sorts of allegations.

That being said and I didn't watch the end of the Angola game, but the team they put up isn't actually that good. It doesn't surprise me they went through a big scoreless streak to lose the game.

They were up 15 against Mexico in the 3rd qtr and more than once in the last qtr mexico got it down to 6 points. Their offense is awful and a big drought is of no surprise. They put up a total of 22 points in 2 of the qtrs in that mexican game (2nd and 4th).
