East Carolina is an AAC contender and they are playing South Carolina who will be demoralized and not have a lot of confidence on Saturday. It's tough to go back out there against a non-SEC team after your season was basically ruined on Day 1.
To make matters worse the South Carolina secondary which was exposed vs. A&M has to face another competent air raid attack, led by senior QB Shane Carden and WR Justin Hardy who are rewriting the record books at ECU. If South Carolina can't get a pass rush ECU is more than capable of hurting USC through the air
Question marks remain on ECU's defense, they held North Carolina Central to 0 offensive points but again its NCCU so can't really gauge anything from that. ECU has always had an average defense at best and bad defense at worst under Ruffin McNeil. South Carolina should be able to score in the 30s worst case scenario but can they keep East Carolina out of the 30s?
I am all over this East Carolina +16.5 that is way too many points based on the scenarios.Comment -
