It does almost nothing for their chances they will get 2nd in the group but should not be much of a difference they just play the 3 seed instead of the 4 seed.

It's like the soccer World Cup. There are 4 groups containing 6 teams each. Each team plays the other 5 teams in their group. After those 5 games are played the top 4 teams from each group advance to the 16 team single elimination playoff bracket.

I'm not really surprised that USA is losing. These international games aren't always about talent. Turkey plays as a team and moves the ball. USA plays isolation offense. And the roster is shit, full of losers who are "me-first" type players. Gay, Harden, Cousins, and Irving are all losers.
