These college coaches are so funny. The ones that are losing halfway through the first game of year are already scrambling to look for qb replacements.

That's always been our problem, quarterbacks.
Even when we went to the Fiesta Bowl, we had no QB.
The last good QB UConn had was Dan Orlovsky, he's backing up Stafford in Detroit.

Yeah, the opener at +17, got steamed down to 14.5
Had tickets for tonight, but Friday night traffic at 5pm to Hartford is killer.

Bob Diaco is an absolute f*ing moron.

The guy kicked a FG with 11 minutes left to cut the lead from 21 to 18.

Then when he has a chance to make it a 2 score game he goes for it on 4th down instead of cutting it to 15 and a 2 possession game. Even if they got the TD, it would have been a 2 possession game.

Clueless. Completely f'ing clueless.

Stever, that is position they sorely miss. Do they only recruit small, slow white qbs in uconn? Is this the Iowa of the northeast? I always liked uconn because of their defense and power running game, produced a few nfl backs.

It's frustrating, Connecticut has some brilliant sports minds, UCONN has sent a dozen kids on the defensive side of the ball to the NFL in the last few seasons or so, sent running backs like Donald Brown to the NFL, but can't recruit a QB that knows the definition of vertical pass.

High school football in New England is a joke compared to the rest of the country. So finding a good qb isn't the easiest
