I like Baltimore at +money. Jake Arrieta good but Baltimore is hot and the Cubs, despite playing well of late, are just not a very good team.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the Orioles end up as the favorite by tomorrow morning.

(My apologies to americans / 5D players, they are actually -101 right now, despite nickel line. They are +money at most other books.)

I made that mistake tonight!!!
I took FF Under 4.5 instead of FG Under 8.5!
Tough to know which is better, but I've found that if at least 1 pen is strong (O's) and other is ok, FG Under safer.

usually i'd side with arrieta here, but the O's are hot and the cubs are not. gausman has been very decent last 5 games. ill take my chances. under may be the play but i chose o's already

Actually Gausman has had far more success on the Road this year. Its not that he has pitched any better (slightly better K/BB ratio) but he just seems to get out of jams easier on the Road (ERA almost 1.5 runs lower). The problem is that Gausman has been knocked around in day games.

Arrieta on the other hand has been lights out at home and even better in day games

Tough spot for the cubs after yesterday. 1.5 games played and won't they still be without Castro? Toss up game, but I would think the situation has to favor the better and currently hotter team. Who knows! BOL

Arrieta is the best pitcher at the moment, besides getting defstroyed by the rockies he has had a fukkton of solid outs, has a good SO/9 and SO/BB ratio, Gausman on the other hand doesn't miss batters a lot. Neither gives up the long ball, which probably favors the Cubs.

Baltimore is the best team and is rested all in all they should be favored and line opened with them as dogs. Maybe books are seeing something I'm not.

Is it that scary? Didn't end up pulling trigger last night. Line has moved how I thought it might. May make a 1u play on orioles.

From what I saw, Gausman decent on the road. Baltimore is just a hot team. If pitchers cancel eachother out, as someone suggested, isn't baltimore the far better team?

Will inquire about sharks at later date. Hopefully college week one is good to me. Unlikely.

I am going on Baltimore.
Arrieta has been flowering this season in the National League
but he did show weakness recently vs a team that can hit like Colorado
and if you look at his ERA during the years he had to face American League
hitting he fared poorly/average with an ERA in the high 4's to 6's...
this is why Baltimore did not see him as part of their future.
With 37 games remaining and a 9-game advantage in the AL East
it's getting close to time where you may question motivation or
management strategy soon... so it will be dangerous to take a team
like the O's soon... but not yet.. 37 gms remaining is too many.

The line will continue to move, the books valued Arrieta at home here and haves moved off of it. Games always scare me when all of the public AND all of SBR are on one side, but Baltimore is still my highest rated play of the day.
