Who's interested in a SBR NFL Last Man Standing (Survivor) pool/contest?

You guys know the fire drill by now on how the Survivor constest works, you pick one team that you think will win outright that week, but you can only use that team once the whole season, once you use a particular team, that's it, can't use it again, win, advance to the next week................

This is what I am thinking, 200 +20 points entry, last man standing wins the pot.
I'll run the contest, maintain it, update it the whole nine yards.
The +20 is the fee to maintain and update the contest weekly, I get that, but I don't keep that, I'll donate those points the second the contest begins to SBR's charity of choice, I'm thinking Make A Wish.

To run this right does take a little time, but I don't want to profit, I'll donate my time for a 20 point fee, and donate that to charity.

I'm figuring at 200 points a contestant, if we get 30 or more, that's a juicy pot.
A trusted mod can hold the points if you are not comfortable with me holding, it's all good.

So?
Anyone interested, anyone got improvements on my ideas?

I think it is a great idea. I've done it before, great contest and I suggested it in another thread that was started a few weeks ago asking about it. BTW, I was brought up to always tip a portion of your winnings to the person running the contest, so you deserve a tip! Plus, I finally can use my points on something, I can be like

You may have to use Capitalized letters stating you can pick only one new team each week because I guarantee a few idiots on here will not get it!

I'm interested. You could use Yahoo or someone's site, this would eliminate any "administrative" time you would need.

I'd probably be in. I don't really want to commit to having 1000 pts tied up though (homey needs gift cards, yo), so I'd prefer a lower buy-in.

I like that idea too however, look around who has 1000 points for a contest? Not many.

This is what I think, 250 points to enter, I'll make it happen if I can get 20 or more to pony up by 9/1 250@20 guarantees at least a 5000 point winner take all pot.

Can mods run it through contests site?? In either way but running through that let's people feel safe about the points being there and as others stated, takes away your admin time. Either way, run it on espn or yahoo. Takes away you having to manually do it!!

Doesn't make any difference to me either way, I was going to collect the points and turn them over to JoJo, somebody like that. Yeah if we can set it up in the contest forum my work is done, I just thought it would be a great contest, run it along side BTP, makes the whole winter weekends great.

id say give people until the first sunday to enter, especially for 1000 points. id definitely do this for 250, but i would also do it for 1000 if you had enough people.

Go with a happy medium of 500 points. Keeps the High rollers happy and the newbies out. I would be interested. You won't have many with 1000 to play, but most survivor pools don't go all the way anyhow.

I would like it in house rather than using somebody elses softwere i.e. yahoo.....

And keep all the prize points here also under lock and key.
