    Bovada being shady
So the game last night between the Cubs/San Fran was protested and became a suspended game...but bovada says they are not honoring it as that!!
And honoring as a 2-0 win for the cubs ...how can you honor it as that when the game isnt over and is suspended
    BUT According to their rules
    number 6 says

    6. Wagers on suspended games do not carry over to a later date.
So I would think that was just be considered a no wager then ....

Here is what I was told by a Supervisor at the Sportsbook

"We do not honor suspended games so we are going to use rule 1 and mark your parlay as a loss"

    Heres rule 1
Moneyline wagers are official after 5 innings of play (4.5 innings if the home team is winning).

But how can they go with rule 1 when the game isnt over ?? and is suspended so rule 6 is what should be used here

Then the Supervisor says "your confusing me "

I advise to go to go elsewhere to play bets as they don't even follow their own rules!!

so if I follow the rules they show this should not be a 7 team parlay anymore and the San fran game should not get carried over and this should just be a 6 team parlay....So PAY ME Bovada!

You are wrong. They are right (but quoted the wrong rule).

The game was called final. It was LATER, today, CHANGED to suspended after the Giants PROTESTED the final outcome. Once final, changes made by subsequent protests are never recognized. And for good reason. This one happened the next day, but what if a protest changed a result 2 weeks later. You expect book to change all their grading? What if the player has withdrawn/spent the funds?

It's the same rule at every book. Protests do not change grading.

how much you bet on it?

i never played there but ive seen rules elsewhere basically state whatever the decision is that day of game thats it, if they change it later you are out of luck.

youre at their mercy, youre fukked, even if youre right. hopefully its not a big hit.

If they knew what they were talking about then thats fine ...dont say to me its a susoended game and they are going to consider it a loss ....because that explanation according to their rules state its a no action not a loss

was called final last night then Giants appealed. Any book would've graded it a loss

You're right, they quoted the wrong rule. Their result is correct, but explanation is not.
