Key to gambling that I think a lot of people should know and understand..
Just a little thing that I think ALL gamblers should understand..

When things going bad, shit will go BADDDDDD. Just when you think it can't possibly get any worse, trust me it gets WORSE. And when things to get worse, it hits rock bottom. For many people this is a swing that a lot of people can't handle with their bankroll, and many times ask themselves how the craziest shit can happen. Almost feels like there's a conspiracy just to fukk you, and only you.

It takes a lot of wall punching, head bashing, table flipping, toe breaking to ride out the waves, but if you can survive that you've taken the first step to becoming a better gambler then 75% of people out there.

Just remember extremely bad luck come in waves and when it does it's a fukking tsunami so brace yourselves. Lot of times it lasts for weeks even a month. For some even a little longer then that.

Then one day, you get some nice wins and say FINALLY and have the stupid smile on your face for that nice win, and you get back to what you were doing...

It's a grind and it's a cycle that you have to ride out.. Winning streak, losing streaks all come in waves.

    Good luck to all..

Nothing says dog shit like losing an under bet because of a fukking error that costs you the win by the fukking hook. It's been happening A LOT. Losing by the hook, bullpen meltdown late in the game and etc. Probably one of the worst bad beats I've had going for the last few weeks, but finally got some nice wins strung together so maybe it's finally settling back to normal.

Just wanted to share this with you guys so you don't do something crazy on tilt.

No story, just giving my input since I've had a string of bad luck recently. And it finally started to get better, thought I'd share my input to a few people as I've seen many people break their bankroll when going on a bad streak.

                      Thank you for sharing this.

I have experienced this wave and I will now take a break b/c i know luck is not on my side right now. I am taking a full month off of gambling and when i return i hope that golden wave of good luck is ready to take me to shore.

My personal rules on sports gambling:

                        1. Money management. Bet less than 5% of your total current bankroll per bet. Be discipline.
                        2. Be a strategic gambler by picking your spots and wait for the right opportunity. Never be a compulsive gambler by betting because it's your favorite team or for the action. Do your research.
                        3. Stay emotionless all the time. Bet like a robot. There's no place for emotions in this profession. Be unbiased.
                        4. Do not judge a team based on what they did last week.
                        5. Never bet on heavily juiced/vig lines. Like a line at -1000 for example.
                        6. Never bet on heavily valued lines. Like a terrible team at 100 to 1 odds to win championship.
                        7. Parlays should be no longer than 2 teams, the bigger the parlay is, the bigger the House Edge. Research and Secure your first pick before moving on to your second pick.

                        8. Teasers should never pass through the zero.

                        9. Teams with home field/court advantage tend to win games. Sportsbooks know this and favorites the home team.
                        "Whoever is first in the field and awaits the coming of the enemy, will be fresh for the fight;
whoever is second in the field and has to hasten to battle will arrive exhausted." -Sun Tzu, the Art of War
                        10. Never bet on double digit road favorites. You will lose in the long run.
                        11. Never bet on preseason games on any sport. Predicting on 2nd string teams is stupid because of the lack of game footage on mostly unknown players.
                        12. If you are extremely compulsive, arrogant, drunk and biased. The best advice is to "Don't Gamble".
                        13. Learn from your mistakes. Most gamblers don't learn from their mistakes. That's why I made these gambling rules.

dude that is the dumbest thing i have ever read. Stop being a negative nancy goldy.

You can win but JMobile is right Luck comes in waves and when its going bad it will get worse sometimes before it gets better. No need to even try to fight it when the bad luck wave comes either.

Just take a breather and come back refreshed when you have given your mind a chance to heal.

It doesn't matter how you track Gold. Not on a site like this. I get crap all the time even though I have never had a true downswing and have posted over 2000 tracked plays at SBR.

                                    I give up.

In the first video, he incorrectly calculates the vigorish on the 2 pick parley. Can anyone tell me why? It seems many of the most experienced handicappers get this wrong.

I started thread asking this very question...not one poster even tried.

Wow, thanks for really enlightening me. I never get crazy over a game or loss and how does surviving punching walls, etc make you a better gambler? One needs to have balance in life and keep the head clear, that is the key. Not feel like you have to bet everyday and play multiple games and then start chasing. Work on mind, body, spirit and good pussy is the key. A common trait of many gamblers is low self esteem and self worth and a huge ego and somewhat disconnected from reality. Just ask JJ or Big Bear

How is it possible to have both a big ego and low self esteem?

Nothing against Justin7, but it's amazing, even someone who 'consulted' for a major bookmaker can't calculate the correct vig on parleys. This is common. There is so much a typical gambler doesn't know, even some pros, and that's understandable. But there seems to be so much that gamblers do 'know' that is just plain wrong...this type of information is everywhere. This situation changes the moment people are willing to learn, but those moments seem few and far between.
I'm not being condescending, just stating a reality.
