Verlander sucks this year and a shoulder problem to boot now

This is what I believe what's going on.
Verlander is a power pitcher, been one pretty much his whole career, from college through the minors through the majors.
All, as in each and every one of all the power pitchers lose velocity in time.
Too much stress on the arm and body.
The body gets older, weaker.
If a power pitcher wants to succeed in his second decade in the bigs, he needs to re-invent himeself.
All the all time greats make the major adjustments.
Look at Mussina, and yes, in his early Baltimore years he was a 'power' pitcher.
He made the major adjustments, he overhauled his game.
Maddux made a lot of changes too, he was even sent down to the minors
Verlander has yet to make the adjustments, his fastball is now ordinary, he needs to work on off speed stuffComment -
