Why is the PGA Championship a major? This doesn't feel like one

I am watching and it just doesn't feel like a major, atmosphere of the tourney doesn't feel high stakes, not a lot of drama. Not sure why but maybe there should only be 3 majors. Golf needs these majors to be big time to make up for the lost ratings for Tiger going down and this just isn't going to cut it, no drama at all

It's a major because it's historically been one, plain and simple. Valhalla isn't good enough to challenge the world's best players, though.
