Actually parts of that place are pretty nice. I just remember trying to get gas there at 11am, and the gas stations didn't open until noon, so I like to shit on that town as a result.

Of the all the steakhouses mentioned in thread that I've been to, CUT would be my top choice.....

.......Nothing wrong with mentioning Circus as a possible top choice, fabulous atmosphere, great steaks, great service, and more of an old Vegas feel, I love frequenting "The Steakhouse" , the infamous red room is worth the trip alone at the Circus steakhouse.



The Claim Jumper has replaced the coffee shop at the Golden Nuggett.

For an open atmosphere (not stuffy) restaurant + nice steak try All-American Bar and Grille inside RIO

Tried it on the recommendation of a Craps Floor-man - got a bone-in ribeye. Surprisingly they had a more than adequate wine list for an eatery with a VP bar

Any casino will comp you .......however most often off the strip properties give way better bang for ones buck than their strip counterparts.

Video poker, other than rare instances, seldom surpasses 99.6% in payback

Yes, the higher end strip hotels offer some great dining experiences on the high end, places like the Bellagio, Wynn, Venetain, and Mandalay Bay to name a few.........but off the strip has excellent venues to, which includes all the Stations restaurants, which offers a wide array of fantastic choices at their various properties(Sonoma Cellar at Sunset may be my favorite)..........then of course you have places like Micheals at the South Point and Twin Creeks at Silverton, both absolutely fabulous.

The Plaza, D, Nugget, Cortez, Binions, and California all have very good to excellent steak choices.


The Flame at the Cortez closing this month, being replaced by Bugsys.
