When David Wilson was drafted in the first round by the New York Giants, he probably had higher hopes for his career than two NFL seasons and 115 career carries. But that's where his NFL career will end, because of a neck injury.

That sucks, only 23 and loads of talent.

Better that it happened in practice and the burner is a warning sign for him to walk away in one piece He doesn't need to go out the way of some of the unfortunate guys who didn't get a choice....He's a quality kid who'll do some good things out there

Yeah he seems to have a great attitude about life so I have no doubt he will be fine and find another career path.

Good luck to him, sucks to go out but like DS said at least he's out before something worse happened.
