Definitely one of the most expensive bad beats.

how about Danny Nguyen on WPT making runner runner or hitting from being behind on the flop .. eliminated 4 guys with the worst hand.

the runner runner set against top pair and copy was the killer.

pair of 3s on the river to win?

he used to deal at Bay101 when i was there, and he said he had to stop after that one .. don't know if he did

runner runners are always the worst to me, but when you play so many hands eventually you are numb to it. anti tilt team kicks the ass of tilt urges in your brain.

That time Daniel Negreanu lost with his full house to Gus Hansen's Quad 5's was petty sick. I think ti was over 1/2 a million.

Standard. There are beats 1000's of times worse than this.

Well I asked that because of the implication that hand had on the guy who lost. I am sure thousands of such bad beats would be happening all over the US daily but where would it rank considered what was at stake. And I ask because I don't watch WSOP or keep in touch with whats happening in Vegas at these tourneys

In relation to what was at stake, it's pretty damn bad, possibly the worst. As far as mathematics go, not the worst. Needing runner runner quads or straight flush for a win is as bad as it gets from math perspective

                    Right

The worst mathematical beat is a running 2 outer at .1%(999 to 1)

This happened to me at the Mirage, had pocket Ks and flopped Ks over 3s (I think it was 3s). Turn 10, river ten, guy turns over pocket 10s.

It's hilarious when people say the worst bad beat in poker

Just thousands of new bad beats every day in poker

It's not like Sports this is a game of chance

If you go all in pre-flop I don't care what happens, it's not a bad beat.

Iona-Manhattan 2013 MAAC Title Game had to have been the worst

Or the Richmond-Charlotte game a few days later

Championship Week 2013 had to have been brutal

The guy who lost that pot got in through a satellite so depending on how you look at it, that makes it worse or not as bad
