Lane has a decent ERA in the minors on a crappy team. He has been a converted pitcher for years, this isn't them just calling on a positional player to start.

To to the guy that has it at 10-3.....let us in on how you came to those numbers....please.

When you start a guy like this, especially when sitting starters, it can be more pressure on the hitters....and SD may put up no runs at all. Santana looked sick his last outing.....

Not sure if you guys have heard of this guy called Glavine....or maybe Moyer? They were pitchers that found a little bit of success throwing 88 MPH tops, in fact Moyer could barely throw 84 his last few seasons. He is a lefty, he throws a change, which is a nightmare for lefties, he has good movement and they have never seen him before. Add to that, the Braves are not exactly a high scoring team, it is an early game, they are sitting out starters and that SD was going to have a tough time putting up runs.....

I doubt SD wins this game, but this was not tough to predict.

Yep. Nobody actually read my post. Nowhere did I ever say that this guy was Moyer or Glavine. What I DID say was that a soft throwing lefty with a change can have success in MLB, no matter what their age.

I then went on to post everything that I based my decision to lay the under on (which I posted before game time as always).

No biggie either way, just got tired of reading posts about how ATL should be killing what this guy was tossing.

What's more amazng is that they have won 46/105 games and are .500 (26-26) at home. Not as bad as people think.
