I hate to say this, but the ol' 'not getting swept theory' is not a good one. The home team sweeps almost 55% of the time when winning the first two or three (depending on the length of the series).

The Pirates may be up 2-1 and may win the game....just saying that theory is not one you should EVER follow.

I don't watch the Cubs much anymore but years ago i used to watch all their games and they were the BEST at that - no one could turn bases loaded no outs into fewer runs then the late 90's cubs teams. So I feel your pain. Hopefully it won't backfire on us today!!

Agree its not something to blind tail - but the better teams don't get swept all that often. Glad it worked out this time
