It is not amazing they are still hanging on. Yankees still have several all stars in their lineup. They also have a way of getting the right players at the right time. Yankees are on fire as of late. They are at home playing a team who is tied with them in the standings. Capuano wants to prove he can pitch well and does not want to go back to the minors. Yanks blowout.

It looks like it will be one of those days. A catch by ellsbury to save a Jays run and kill their momentum, then a catch by Rasmus on Gardner (who normally kills the Jays) saves two more runs. 10 LOB through 4 innings.

Rasmus had a chance to do some major damage - Jays up 3-2, sacks loaded, one out . . . the dumb kunt whiffs on a pitch that just about hit him in the armpit. Thing is, he's always doing shit like that. Can't make contact when he needs to, can't hit 220, yet his job is safe on this Toronto team. (Sorry, I'm a little ticked here since as I played the over.)
