agreed about that. if somebody is planning to make a living by betting, then you must be winning at least x5 (preferably x10) more money then an ordinary 9-5 salary job.

Only earn about 1300 after tax from my job
So winning roughly the same and doing it from from home watching sport all day and at home with the family
Of course winning more would be nice but 1k a minimum
Gamblers get greedy that's where we come unstuck

Factsman posted a great thread across the street about what you need to do this for a living. A big chunk of cash is one. May want to look into going back to school; making 1,000 a month is poverty level unless your spouse kills it. Good luck.

Need at least hundred thousand dollar bank roll
many guys have a hot streak and now think they can be professional gamblers and usually end up broke washing cars
Professional AD I advise against it

1. live where you can get $$$ in-hand right after the game
2. BR
3. MM
4. pick winners
That is a simple plan - 90% of the people here cant do it tho

If you want to be a pro sports bettor, you need to factor in the following:
1. You won't be getting any job-related benefits like health/dental insurance.
2. Changes in government legislation that make it impossible for you to bet may happen at any time.
3. If you have to get a job again, companies will be unimpressed by the years you spent gambling instead of working, and you won't get a good job.

man2 , getting sheriff & health cards and a part time job are benefits for most younger 'pro' gamblers in Vegas (Nevada)

59 years old, yes have health insurance but it's not the greatest. Strategy will be as always-discipline, selective and good money management. As soon as I'm debt free including ************, car payments and sell my house I will be moving to Vegas. I'm saying in less then 2 yrs.

you could always bend the truth about 3 like I did its not hard to close employee gaps and time gaps when friends who own legit companies are your refrences past history.
