So, Ray beats his wife and drags her thru the hall and gets a 2 game suspension. I guarantee his wife backed him up because they were just engaged and not married. She would not be able to take half his assets in divorce. Now that they are married, they will be divorced within a year, she will get half his assets and child support. Even if he has a prenuptial, it will not hold up due to the video and all his insensitive remarks in the press. Women certainly know how to work that system, especially after being abused.

I got no problem with it. 16 game season his missing 1/8 of it.Thats plenty. And its not like theirs footage of him actually beating her. On top of it all they worked things out after, doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Honestly I don't think he should have been suspended at all. Its an off the field incident and he didn't break any NFL policies no need for the league to punish him after he went to court for it. As far as the girl getting back together with him she is indeed a gold digger and only wants her half of the money. Rice is a fool for getting back together with her and marrying her. Guy obviously was trying to fix his public image but it will backfire why go through the trouble of marrying her. the real question is how do players get caught smoking weed. I once heard in an interview that they were very specific with the time of the testing and all players knew when they were gonna be tested. No doubt alot of players smoke in offseason they just make sure they don't get caught.
