In the past 10 years we have played Bama, Oregon, Miami, Notre Dame, UCLA, Washington, and Florida State OOC. These aren't bowl games either. They are home and aways.

So yeah, the Big 12 sucks but I don't really care.
yes you guys will play anyone anywhere anytime but i think the Bama home and away was 2002 and 2003 but i get what you're saying. you guys do not back down from anyone.

Here is why you should care. There is no argument when it comes to OU playing tough non-con games. You problem is this. When you face a team like Baylor, (who plays non-con opponents SMU, Northwestern State and Buffalo) for the Conference Championship, it makes a win over Baylor look like nothing because they played nobody. If you look at those three non-con opponents, it is easy to see why Baylor is basically laughed at. Now OU plays LA. Tech, Tulsa, and Tennessee. Tennessee has a team by name only. Please do not give the the excuse that OU did not know that Tennessee would be down this season. Tennessee has had just one season where they won more than 6 games since 2008, and that was when Lane Kiffin was the HC. They have had 4 losing seasons since 2008. The game was scheduled AFTER 2008, so no one is going to buy that Tennessee is a tough opponent. On top of all this, there is no CC game in the Big 12, meaning that a one loss Big 12 Champion would have 11 wins while a one loss Champion in any other Power conferece would have 12 wins. OU has played second fiddle to Texas for years now. They still do. Had OU had the gonads to pick up and move to the Pac 12 along with Okie State, They certainly would have a much better shot at a Playoff game than they do now.

The ONLY way that OU can survive in the Big 12 is for the Big 12 to become the Big 12 again. The Big 12 has Head Coaches (like Art Briles) who are so stupid that they think that the Big 12 Champion will get into the Playoffs no matter what their record is. That is just plain stupid thinking, but I have seen a lot of Big 12 homers think the same thing. This does NOT sit well with the people who will make the choices. Briles comes off as an arrogant arse hole. The Big 12 does not need that. They have Texas for that. So find two more teams, break up into Divisions (North and South) and get on with it. Either that, or prepare to cry for 3 more years.

If u don't know that bobby Hauck is the head coach at unlv and that catching 24 vs an Arizona team in week one is great value, then u don't deserve airtime with me in cfb.

That might be the funniest of all. After you say UNLV with 24 against Zona is such a great play.

Oregon and UCLA can beat every team in the Big 12. Stanford, USC, and Wawhington could beat every team except the top two, and would be competitive against those two. Okahoma and Baylor are the ONLY two teams in the Big 12 that would finish above .500 in conference play if the entire Big 12 were part of the Pac 12. Now you go ahead and find value for your 125 teams, which is about as dummb as you can get, from a 'capping point of view. I haven't read this much stupid in one post since your last one.

UCLA will be the class of the PAC 12 this year, Texas might be the third best team in the big 12. So according to your hillbilly logic, if the best team in conference A beats the third or fourth best team in conference B, the conference A is obviously better...

And for whoever said the Big 12 won't get a team in the final 4, name the price. I'll take that bet all year long

Not a slam dunk IMO that big 12 gets in. Due to strength of schedule think they need an undefeated team

Maybe not a slam dunk but at least a smooth point blank finger roll

OU rolls this year. Most talented team they've had in a while. They get Texas on a neutral and Baylor/OSU at home.

Of course they could slip up but that would be a big surprise.

I think right now, they've got as good a shot as anyone to make it into the final 4

Wow u are clueless cuse. Zona was 17 or so pt dog at home to Oregon. Zona had several games under its belt before the Oregon gm but vs unlv it's game 1 and they're a huge fave. Much different hosting a top 5 team than paying sleepy unlv. Teams play to the moment. FYI thus zona team looks vastly different on o than last yr.

OU rolls this year. Most talented team they've had in a while. They get Texas on a neutral and Baylor/OSU at home.

Of course they could slip up but that would be a big surprise.

I think right now, they've got as good a shot as anyone to make it into the final 4
You sound like the other Big 12 homers in here, but I will agree with you on one point. OU has just as good a chance of going undefeated as anyone else. By the way, they ALWAYS get Texas on a neutral field. Okie State will be way down this season. The important thing is that they get Baylor and Kansas State at home, though Kansas State is the game AFTER the Texas game. OU has to guard against a let down there. Normally they play Kansas after the Texas game, a much easier team to beat. They also go to TCU the week before the Texas game.

The point that you may be missing is this. OU may HAVE to go undefeated to get into the Playoff because the Big 12 (-2) does NOT have a CC game. That means that if every Conference Champion has one loss, OU comes out on the short end of the stick because they will have 11 wins and everyone else will have 12 wins. That, plus a genuine lack of any type of SOS kills them. Can OU get to the playoffs. Absolutely, but if they lose a game, it is going to be much tougher.

One other thing. Stoops has NOT had a season with less than two losses since 2008. Two losses kill any Big 12 team's chances of getting into the Playoffs. Stoops is going to have to step it up this season.

A sleeper in the PAC 12? My guess is that most will say either Stanford or USC, but I like Washington. Like all sleepers, they do have to get over some hurdles. Their potential starting QB missed all of spring ball. Their WR's need some experience and need to stay away from injuries. The defensive secondary is young and needs work.

On the plus side, both lines are about as good as they get in the Pac 12. They both return every starter from last year. Udub's LB corps is also solid. The schedule sees themm going to Oregon, but getting Stanford, Oregon State, and UCLA at home. Not bad for a possible "sleeper".

Asu and wash in the coaches top 25. I don't believe either will end up there. Asu has colossal losses on d. And look at wash sched:

7-5 very possible. 8-4 at best and just outside top 25

Stanford will lose at least three of those games outright. Possibly more. I will also bet you that 6 Pac 12 QB's have a better statistical year than Stanford QB Kevin Hogan, who was really poor last season. Now each wager will be 100 points. You know NOTHING about football. You do not even know how many teams there are in the FBS. It is time that someone puts you in your place, and I am going to do it. Do NOT try to run away. define "statistical year" for kevin hogan. are you talking about qb rating? how about kevin hogan led them to the rose bowl last year. 9 of the 12 qb's in the pac 12 are returning qb's. most fling the ball over the field while hogan is a game manager and leads a run based attacking game that wins with defense and hard nosed football. OF COURSE at least 6 qb's will have better stats - the kids playing qb at cal and at colorado will have better stats, because their offenses are built around the pass and they play from behind all game and need to air it out - but how many GAMES will they WIN??

stanford clearly plays in front of the chains and hogan wins with the short passing attack and uses the TE and RB 75% of his throws with only 25% or less going to ty montgomery and most of those are medium throws. they only throw deep maybe 2-3 times per game on play action.

sorry dude but you made an obvious statement saying hogan won't have a strong statistical year because his offense is built around time of possession, play action pass and roll outs, and tremendous defense.

forget the qb ratings - how's another 10 win season for you??
